Nobody wants to travel while freezing in coldness, isn?t it? Thus, we have to don motorcycle apparel. Aside from coldness, it also protects us from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), heat, pricks, falls, injuries and other dangerous elements.
Motorcycle apparel is composed of helmet, jackets/vests, gloves, pants and boots or any other riding footwear. For the hands, we have motorcycle gloves. There are different types of gloves. Most of them are worn depending on the weather. Summer gloves uses thin lining and are not water-resistant. They come in vibrant colors. Rain gloves, obviously, are for rainy seasons. They are usually made of plastic. They can get slippery and bulky. However, they are often cheap and are easy to carry along. Winter gloves are thick and will really keep your hands warm during winter. Racing or medium weight gloves are oftentimes lined. They are stylish and comfortable. No wonder why racers are comfortable having them in each race. The last type is the fingerless gloves. Wearing can be comfy. However, you can also get nasty sunburn.
In choosing them, you have to consider the season, size, construction and other vital features. To preclude gloves from wrapping around the bar, you have to choose the size that fits you well ? not too tight, loose, small or long ? just the right size.
Gloves are leather or nylon made. Between the two, leather gives the best protection. Another quality of a good pair of gloves is having extra padding on the knuckles and palms. Carbon shells and tiny metal studs can also be used for added hand protection.
Having washable good linings can also be a good feature of gloves. Aside from that, extensions can also protect you from the harsh and cold puffing air. It can extend up to the sleeve thus, protection is also extended.
Rain is oftentimes part of an enjoyable ride. However, how can you manage to enjoy the ride if your hands are soaking wet and numb? To avoid this situation, always choose water-resistant gloves to keep water away from your exhausted hands.
Another feature is the wrist strap. These straps are usually made from a simple button clip system or Velcro. The main function of having the same is to improve comfort by holding the gloves tightly and ensuring that safety padding is in the right place.
The next time you shop for motorcycle gloves, think about the aforementioned features. They will surely make your ride comfortable and numb-free.

Inline Skating Exercise Benefits
by: Peter Kudlacz
Inline skating is an enjoyable way to get in shape and stay fit especially on warm sunny days when it's a lot more enjoyable to exercise outdoors than on a treadmill or exercise bike indoors at the gym. These days most cities have nicely paved paths through parkland, beach and waterfront areas to make your rollerblading experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately depending on where you live, you may not be able to or want to rollerblade all year round.
There are many benefits to be derived from inline skating. It's much easier and safer on the knees and back than jogging since your legs aren't taking as much pounding against a hard surface. You don't have to travel as far as cycling to get maximum benefits. Along with a great cardiovascular workout, blading provides you with a fantastic lower body workout by strengthening and toning your thighs, gluteus, calves and hamstrings. It's like doing thousands...

Preparation for Your Tandem Skydive
Now what are you going to wear for your tandem skydive?
Wear tennis shoes if you have them.
If you have boots and they have hooks for the laces, the drop zone will put duct tape on the hooks.
The clothes you wear really do not matter as long as they are comfortable.
I always tell students to wear comfortable jeans and a tee shirt and bring along a sweatshirt because sometimes it is a little cool at altitude when it is time to jump from that airplane.
Some drop zones have suits you can wear but not all of them do.
If jumping when the weather is cool, wear layers that still allow you movement.

Picking out a snowboard can be difficult because there are so many brands and types to choose from. Three major types of boards are freestyle, alpine, and freeride. When picking out a snowboard, you need to determine what style of riding you are going to be doing, and get a board specific to that type of riding. If you are going to be spending your time in the half-pipe a freestyle board is best for you. Freeride is best if you are going to be making runs down the hill, and alpine will be best if you are up for some high-speed racing.
Another important aspect of picking out a board is making sure that you get boots and bindings that go with the board. Each set up is going to have its own characteristics specific to the type of riding that a person will be doing.
Beginners should start with a freestyle (

Here are a few snowboarding safety tips dealing with common injuries, how to treat those injuries and what can be done to prevent them.
Common Snowboarding Injuries
Snowboarding injuries occur mostly in the upper extremities of the body and the ankle, the most common being sprains followed by fractures and contusions. Upper body injuries are common as snowboarders usually fall forwards or backwards. With a forward fall, snowboarders will protect themselves by stretching their arms outwards to stop themselves from falling. This leads to sprained wrists, wrist fractures, elbow, shoulder and head injuries. If a snowboarder falls...
